We have partnered with a Top 15 firm based in Maidenhead, to seek a driven and dedicated Audit Assistant Manager to join their leading audit team.
Working with a broad mix of clients, you will lead the audit team and support the Partners with business development and practice management.

Your role as an Audit Assistant Manager:
- Produce detailed audit planning, including details of potential difficulties and ensure correct tests are applied to produce sufficient audit evidence.
- Allocate sections to junior staff and brief on what is expected of them.
- Responsible for final analytical reviews.
- Complete audits in accordance with prescribed audit procedures, with assistance from more senior members of staff where required.
- Produce detailed audit planning, including details of potential difficulties and ensure correct tests are applied to produce sufficient audit evidence.
- Monitor the progress of jobs, ensuring that budgets and deadlines are managed appropriately.
- Sign off audit sections and complete the file before passing it on to the senior member of the team for review.
- Draft letters to clients in relation to the audit/accounts.
- Preparation or review of financial statements.
What you'll need to succeed:
- ACA, ACCA, CA or an equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with IFRS, ISA, US GAAP & GAAS would be an asset, but not required.
- External audit experience within a professional services environment.
- Working knowledge of accounting and audit standards, industry specifics and their applications.
- Strong communications and great leadership skills.
- 2-3 years Audit experience.
