My leading financial services and professional services client is on the search for a highly skilled Audit Manager to join their Assurance Team. This role is a Hybrid-Role based in London.
Responsibilities of an Auditor Manager:
- Delivering a number of key services to a consistently high
- Providing UK GAAP, IFRS and audit technical support and training, webinars and face-to-face
- Playing a key role in managing the firm’s regulatory and reputational risk in an increasingly challenging environment.
- Providing engaging training on emerging issues in a variety of formats to clients and internal
- Researching emerging technical issues, producing practical written guidance and valuating current processes in light of new
- Helping ensure consistently high audit quality by performing both hot and cold file
Essential Skills:
- Technical expertise in areas such as UK GAAP, IFRS and other auditing standards is an essential part of the role
- The ability to think through the issues and consider the wider ramifications of any
- The ability to judge the extent to which something is material if a particular approach is adopted over another.
- Planning and organizing skills as you will be working on a number of areas, and will have to balance your workload and reassess it regularly.
- The ability to express yourself clearly, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people with different levels of experience, especially when dealing with complex technical topics.
- The confidence to be able to explain to partners and staff why a certain approach needs to be adopted, as it may not always be what the client wishes to
- Presentation skills - ranging from small groups to larger
