About this opportunity

Group Audit and Conduct Investigations has an exciting opportunity for you to join as an Audit Manager, providing you with the opportunity to lead audits focused on third-party risk across the Group and make a meaningful impact to how the Group outsources and runs its Supply Chain.
We're looking for an experienced sourcing or supplier management professional to join a diverse and committed internal audit team working across the Lloyds Banking Group's global businesses as an Audit Manager. This exciting role will provide the opportunity to work with senior leaders and influence on a variety of audits assessing how LBG source, onboard and maintain relationships with the most critical suppliers.
You'll be part of the third line of defence team responsible for providing assurance to the board over the way Lloyds Banking Group handles third-party Supply Chain risk. You'll contribute to, and lead audits in accordance with the agreed plan, harnessing a deep understanding of third-party risk to provide high quality independent assurance on the effectiveness of controls.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Plan and implement audits end to end ensuring quality, resource and timelines can be met, supporting the Audit Portfolio lead by project managing individual audits on their behalf.
  • Present audit updates and outcomes to internal and external partners.
  • Regularly engage with business partners and proactively monitor and risk assess business processes and activities.
  • Collaborate and provide internal and external insight for other teams within GA&CI.
  • Lead the follow-up and subsequent review of audit remediation activities in collaboration with business partners.
  • Set team expectations on performance and personal growth, coaching junior colleagues on the job.

  • Excellent project management skills underpinning the ability to contribute to, and lead audits with relative autonomy, harnessing a deep understanding of third-party risks across different businesses.
  • Strong collaboration with the ability to lead audit teams, supporting team members and management to deliver on team and personal goals. Used to giving and receiving feedback, coaching and being coached to deliver the best performance.

And any experience of these would be really useful:
