As the Audit Senior you will be responsible for the preparation accounts and audit assignments reporting to the job manager. Working under the guidance of a manager or partner, you may be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, will be required to work within an agreed budget using a standard approach agreed at the planning stage with the manager or partner. You will be expected to use your technical knowledge to identify areas for improvement/ efficiency.
Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our team. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in overseeing and executing audit engagements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in audit procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support.Financial Statement Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements and related documents.Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks, proposing strategies to mitigate them.Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.Client Communication: Interact with clients to discuss audit findings, address queries, and provide recommendations.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed audit documentation.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the audit function.Training: Provide training and support to junior audit staff.Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control reviews to ensure the accuracy and completeness of audit work.Qualifications and Skills:
Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).Proven experience as an Audit Senior or similar role.Strong understanding of auditing and accounting principles.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.Leadership and mentoring skills.
