Auditors Qual/Semi Qual

We are recruiting for a number of Qualified and Semi Qualified Auditors to join an expanding and growing practice.

Individuals with a knack for detail and a strong background in a Practice environment to lead and support on audit assignments, ensuring that they are carried out accurately, in accordance with standards and procedures, whilst ensuring exceptional client service.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Yorkshire. Large independent with multiple offices across the area and over 300 specialists providing a range of services.

Description

• Conduct audits in accordance with accepted standards.
• Collaborate with team members to carry out tasks efficiently.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports.
• Ensure all client needs are met promptly and effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the development of audit plans and schedules.
• Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Mentor/Lead a team of junior colleagues, supporting, coaching and sharing your technical skills.

Profile

A successful applicants should have:

• A strong background in the professional services industry. Minimum 2 years experience within practice.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A qualification in accountancy or a related field (Working towards or completed ACCA/ACA)

Job Offer

• Competitive salary in the range of £25000- £40000 per year DOE
• A standard 37.5-hour work week.
