Panks is a friendly, family run business, established in 1842, located in Norwich. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Auto Electrical department as an Order Picker. This is a full-time postion with a three month probation period, then a permanent position for the best suited candidate - it could be you!
Main Responsibilities
- Picking orders to customer requirements ensuring safe manual handling practices are observed
- Developing product knowledge
- Checking purchase orders and delivery notes
- Assisting with stock monitoring and yearly stock audits
- Assisting with goods-in and receiving deliveries
- Representing the company in a positive manner, being polite and courteous
- Working well within the team and helping other departments as required
- Any duties that reasonable fall within the scope of the role
Essential/Desirable Skills required
- Previous experience in Picking/Packing (D)
- Strong verbal/written communicaton (E)
- Well organised and time bound (E)
- Team Player (E)
- Works well under pressure (E)
- Reliable (E)
