Automotive Trainer

We are looking for:

- Vehicle Mechanic Trainer in Tidworth

- Vehicle Technician Trainer in Lyneham

The role will involve assessing and monitoring staff who are undertaking their Level 3.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Setting and reviewing training objectives, mentoring and assessment
• Invigilating tests for Vocational qualifications at level 2/3 .
• Attend "sign up" presentations and carry out post course evaluation sessions
• Keep all documentation up to date using the online portfolios

This role would suit a Vehicle Mechanic and Vehicle Technician with high level of experience and some prior coaching or mentoring experience who would relish the challenge of a new job in a training role. We are looking for candidates with the following:

• Someone with imagination, innovation and creative problem solving techniques
• A clear proactive approach to planning
• Someone who encourages and supports others to give their best; understands how different people are motivated and acts accordingly
• Excellent IT Skills
• Industry related qualifications
• Military experience is desirable
• A Teaching/Assessing/Training qualification is desirable

My client is offering

• A starting salary of circa £35,000 (unqualified)
• For experienced Trainers the salary would be £37,000 +
• Mileage is paid at 45p per mile
• Trainer Assessor Qualification fully funded if not yet held
