This organisation is actively seeking a highly skilled AWS IT Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a a high level of operational exposure in an AWS Cloud Systems Engineer role, coupled with AWS Associate certification or equivalent experience.
As a key member of the technical team, you will demonstrate a deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS core services, networking, security best practices, and infrastructure as code tools.
Your expertise should extend to AWS security features such as Security Hub, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Inspector, Network & Web Application Firewalls, and Shield. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is crucial, as is familiarity with Windows Server and Linux Server operating systems. A strong background in data privacy, regulatory compliance, and documentation writing, including policies, standards, and architectures, is essential.Desirable qualifications include experience with ISO27001/2 standards and familiarity with IT service management practices and frameworks such as ITIL and PRINCE2.
