Azure Virtual Desktop Specialist (Avd)

Stott and May are looking for an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) specialist to join a leading UK insurance company. Successful applicants must be able to join immediately and assist with an ongoing brownfield project.
Title: AVD Specialist
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Hybrid: 2 days on site in London (near London Bridge)
inside IR35
Responsibilities:
• Design the Azure Virtual Desktop architecture
• Designing user identities and profiles
• Deploy and manage the network for Azure Virtual Desktop
• Implement and manage storage for Azure Virtual Desktop
• Create and configure host pools and session hosts for Azure Virtual Desktop
• Create and manage a session host image for Azure Virtual Desktop
Key Skills:
• Extensive experience with Windows server and desktop operating system
• Proven experience in deploying and managing Virtual machines in Azure
• Comprehensive understanding of AVD, its key features and benefits
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Technical experience in Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Domain services(AADDS) and Azure AD connect
• Handson experience in Windows infrastructure technologies in Azure and on-premises Infrastructure
• Experience in package and sequence applications for deployment within AVD environments.
