Job description

Business for Societal Impact (B4SI) is the global standard in measuring and managing social impact. A member-driven network, the B4SI Framework provides a common standard for members to not only measure and manage their data, but to also learn together to maximise their impact. 
As B4SI expands its international reach and network, including a focus on North America, we are looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications professional to lead our global efforts in amplifying our reputation to drive engagement, continue building brand awareness that positions B4SI well within the social and community sustainability spectrum, and proactively support and pursue activities that will complement business development opportunities.
The role
This role will research, plan and deliver Marketing and Communications initiatives that support the global strategic direction of B4SI, while also collaborating with SLR’s global marketing colleagues to understand local nuances and inform initiatives, particularly those of a complementary nature. 
Day-to-day will include:
Strategic
•    Working with the regional leads, you will develop and support the annual marketing communications plan to build B4SI’s global profile
•    With particular focus on North America, you will help to identify and pursue opportunities for raising brand awareness and profile
•    Monitor engagement across communications platforms and provide regular reports with strategic recommendations for improving engagement to regional leads
Thought leadership and content production
•    Support the delivery and campaign activity of flagship B4SI publications and reports
•    Website optimisation, including CMS maintenance
•    Working with SLR’s regional marketing colleagues to align activities and work with SLR’s design team to create visually engaging marketing collateral
Events
•    Support the delivery of B4SI’s flagship Annual Conference and member-hosted events
•    Research and identify global sponsorship and partnerships opportunities to amplify B4SI
•    Ensure external brand and profile are well presented
•    Monitoring ROI of activities

About you
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable managing internal stakeholders across all levels of seniority and time zones; confident in engaging with external media and suppliers, and able to balance competing priorities and workloads.
•    Ideally an understanding of the key drivers influencing business behaviour in the fields of social sustainability and community impact
•    Experience of developing and delivering (global) marketing communications strategies
•    Understanding of communications tools and how best to execute these within context
•    Familiarity with analytical tools
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good command of English (additional languages are beneficial)
