Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, friendly and caring individual to provide administrative and clerical support to our well-established, nationally certified Cardiac Rehabilitation service. The service supports patient' recovery following a diagnosis/procedure of Heart Attack, cardiac surgery or coronary angioplasty.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
Applicants should hold a qualification in Business Administration NVQ level 3 or have equivalent experience in an administrative role. They should be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheets. Experience in the use of databases is desirable and knowledge of Clinical Portal, Oceano and digital dictation is desirable but not essential. Experience of working in a medical/healthcare environment is also beneficial. With support you will be managing and processing cardiology referrals from hospitals all over the country and referring patients' care onwards to other Cardiac Rehab programmes where appropriate.
The ability to prioritise and self-manage your workload is essential. An excellent telephone manner to deal with both patients and staff enquiries is important at all times.
