Band 5CAMHS Mental Health Staff Nurse

Offering three months free accommodation - our client is the major Health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands; we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Mental Health or Paediatric Nurse to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health team on the Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
Reporting to the Band 6 CAMHS Senior Practitioner or Band 7 Team Leader, you will provide Mental Health care of children and young people as appropriate, in a variety of settings in accordance with the agreed pathway for access to the service.
The CAMHS Service assesses and treats patients aged 18 and under with emotional, behavioural or Mental Health difficulties.
The Service also covers neurological disorders such as ADHD and Autism, fear and anxiety, depression and low mood, violence, self-harm and eating disorders.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The Guernsey Band 5 salary range from 1st Jan is £36,900 to £47,590 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.
The Island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.

Person requirements:
Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC registration
RN-Child/Paediatric Nurses must hold a CAMHS post-graduate qualification or considerable experience.
A minimum of six months post-graduate CAMHS experience.
Be working towards, or to show willingness to undertake further education.
