Night/Saturday Rate: £26 per hour
Sunday/Bank Holiday Rate: £32 per hour
Role Overview: As a Band 5 Mental Health Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to Older Adults with mental health needs. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and deliver individualized care to support the well-being and recovery of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and support to Older Adults with mental health conditions.
- Administer medication and monitor its effectiveness.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and progress.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
- Band 5 experience or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with Older Adults with mental health needs.
- Familiarity with mental health legislation and best practice guidelines.
