We pride ourselves in supporting staff with good team and department structures and morale. We run specialist clinical and non-clinical training. We have students on placement in specialties across the department. We also have superb working relationships with our Consultants and Multidisciplinary Teams across both inpatients and outpatients. Our clinical staff are involved in Trust level clinical and non-clinical projects and have opportunities to drive service development, audit and evidence-based practice. Relevant NHS experience including basic rotations within medicine, neurology and musculoskeletal is essential.
Your working hours and days can be negotiated. You will spend your time based in the Outpatient physiotherapy department, assessing and treatment patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Functional Neurological Disorder, Neuropathies, Cerebral Palsy and others.

We are clinically led and provide joined up care by bridging the gap between hospital and community services alongside regional specialist cancer care. Our main acute hospital site is in Guildford with community hospital sites at Milford, Haslemere and Cranleigh. We provide adult community health services in homes across Guildford and Waverley.

To provide physiotherapy to relevant patients within clinical specialty area, in a range of settings including inpatients, outpatients and patient homes.
To assess and treat patient’s in relevant rotational area . To support the team in the organisation and provision of an efficient, high quality and co-ordinated physiotherapy service for patients in each area . To undertake a defined clinical caseload. To ensure that patient and service standards and priorities are met. To provide clinical supervision to assigned junior physiotherapists, technical instructors, physiotherapy assistants and students.
