Bank Support Worker - Hyde Lodge
Location: Westbury Park, Bristol (Good transport links and free parking available on site)
Hourly Rate: £11.72-£12.78ph - Linked to experience and qualifications.
Hours: This a Bank/Casual role, no fixed hours.
Aurora Hyde lodge is situated close to the city centre and provides a makes a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable adults, providing a homely supported living and learning environment for young adults aged 19+ with severe and complex learning difficulties.

As a bank Support Worker, you will be able to pick up day and/or night shifts (nights also come with a £15 per night shift allowance)
What is a Support Worker?
You will be working 1:1 with a resident on each shift. You will have the freedom to plan their day in line with their choices and wishes, enabling them to be as independent as possible, seeing them thrive and enjoying making memories
You will be providing personal care to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips and fun social occasions.
We are looking for pro-active individuals who can demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to supporting our young people. You do not need to have experience in the care sector, we can support and train you on your journey.
