What it's like to work here

With your love of working with people, positive attitude and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our bar. Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the drinks are all served to a high standard. You will work closely with the other bar staff and wedding team, creating a positive working environment.

Due to the location of the venue and shift start and finish times we are not accessible by public transport and therefore we encourage you to consider how you would commute here before you apply.

What you'll be doing

As a Team Leader, you’ll be giving day-to-day support to your team, to make sure they’re consistently giving great service to everyone who comes to the bar.

This is a busy, lively place to work, so you’ll need to be adaptable. We hold up to 100 weddings and events each year, hosting a diverse range of guests, cultures and experiences. Whilst your main focus will be on the bar operations, you'll also gain hands on experience assisting our coordinators with the varied elements of an event day.

Your focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people and serving them drinks. Crucial to this role will be your love of working with people, your positive ‘can-do’ attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service.

You’ll also be supervising the induction and training of colleagues, to help build a team that’s dedicated to great service and to giving people a day to remember.

We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.

Please note a full UK driving licence is required for this role as we operate an on site golf buggy service.
