A specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Knowsley are seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis from 8th February 2024
Prospero Teaching are working with a specialist SEN setting in Knowsley who are seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant who is interested in become an integral part to a young person's learning. Our client is a specialist Pupil Referral Unit, providing a differentiated curriculum for pupils across KS1-KS4, with a range of behavioural and emotional needs.
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA), you will work alongside a specialist team of teachers, care staff and Support Assistants to deliver a programme of learning that is tailored to meet the specific needs of SEN pupils. A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe learning environment and promoting positive behaviour for the young persons' you will be supporting.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside specialist teachers. You will be part of a key team around the young person in order to maintain consistent support, communication and updated support plans.

- Minimum Rate-of-pay: £90 per-day
- Role Type: Long-Term, Full time
- Start Date: 08/02/2024
- Working Hours: 8:20am - 3:20pm
