About the Role: As a Behaviour Support Worker, your pivotal role involves promoting positive behaviour and nurturing a supportive learning environment tailored to the unique needs of secondary school students.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Assisting teachers in implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Providing individualised support to students facing behavioural challenges.
- Collaborating with the school's SENCO and other professionals to develop customised intervention plans.
- Fostering the overall well-being of students and contributing to a positive school ethos.
- Relevant experience working with adolescents in an educational setting.
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in a secondary school context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education or psychology would be advantageous.
- The right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
- A DBS registered to the update service or a willingness to apply for one with GSL Education.
