As a BEMS Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and performance of our client's Building Energy Management Systems.

The Role:

1. Service and Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system checks on BEMS equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, faults, and malfunctions in BEMS systems promptly and effectively.
3. Repairs: Perform necessary repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
4. Upgrades and Enhancements: Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system upgrades and enhancements that improve energy efficiency and system performance.
5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service and maintenance activities, including equipment status, repairs made, and parts used.
6. Client Communication: Communicate with clients to schedule service visits, provide updates on maintenance activities, and offer recommendations for system improvements.
7. Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duty and respond swiftly to emergency service requests, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues.
8. Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
9. Reporting: Prepare service reports and performance analysis documents for clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining Building Energy Management Systems or similar automation/control systems.
• Experience with either Tridium Niagara or Trend Control Systems, experience with KNX is a plus.
• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and control systems.
• Knowledge of BEMS protocols and technologies (e.g BACnet, Modbus)
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, energy management, and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Availability for on-call duty and travel to client sites. (Additional remuneration included + highly paid overtime if part of on-call duty team)
• Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g BEMS manufacturer certifications) are advantageous.
