Responsibilities

As our Bespoke Planner (Weddings) will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and delivery of Bespoke Weddings. You will own the end-to-end process, building a relationship with your clients whereby they feel like you are an integral part of their wedding journey and a friend.

This role is for a down to earth and hands on individual who is happy to sort out the small as well as the big projects. Working closely with our Creative Director, she will be a huge support to you and will be an opportunity to learn and grow in the role.

Every day will be different, you will be on the ball with bags of energy and enthusiasm. Solutions driven and practical, your administrative skills will be excellent and creative flair both innovative and on trend. You will be resourceful and have a strong understanding of up-and-coming trends across all industries.

You must have your own transport and must be available at weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver complete end-to-end wedding planning and delivery, from point of first contact with your clients to delivery of their wedding, and the congratulatory email that follows
  • Forge a professional relationship with your client to the point they consider you to be their most valuable resource in planning and delivering the most important day of their lives
  • Assist and support the FOH/ Events team in preparing set up of event, kits, tables, etc. until completion of event Promote compliance within the health and safety regulations and safe working practices in line with current legislation
  • Handle incoming customer enquiries, prepare quotes and respond to demands within a timely manner by undertaking all relevant administrative tasks
  • Be commercially minded: recognise opportunities to upsell concepts and products to maximise revenue from every wedding
  • Host private tastings with your clients at Kalm Kitchen HQ
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Kitchen and Warehouse teams to ensure a cohesive delivery of all events
  • Attend site visits with clients and other suppliers
  • Assist with the logistical operation for bespoke events alongside the warehouse team, including transportation and packing lists
  • Assist with hiring items including equipment, linen and kitchen setups
  • Generate detailed notes and function sheets before the event and communicating these across the wider team
  • Liaise with chefs regarding menus, allergens and dietary requirements
  • Oversee the onsite delivery of events
  • Covering the Bespoke Events Planners on their days off and holidays including event dates
  • Adhering to strict venue regulations and good practices
  • Represent Kalm Kitchen and its clients, promoting the company values to an external audience in support of growth
  • Provide support and advice to all departments in their preparation of branded documents

  • Has experience of Tripleseat (Event Management software – desirable but not essential)
  • Has at least four years’ experience of successfully organising and delivering high profile events.

  • Has a passion for and extensive knowledge of food, drink and hospitality
