- £38,223 per annum (pro rata if part time)
- 37 hours per week - Flexible working options available

Are you a qualified Best Interest Assessor looking to join an expanding DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) Team?
It is an exciting time to join the DoLS Team in Suffolk. Following significant investment we are putting into action our DoLS plan. The investment is a key part of the wider exciting transformation programme. Working in Suffolk you will also be part of the new People at the Heart of Care Strategy. People at the Heart of Care sets out our framework of how we work with people to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Working in the DoLS Team you will be part of a dynamic and experienced Safeguarding Service that works with all teams in Adult Social Care across the county.
Your role will be to
- undertake DoLS assessments to a high standard and in line with legislative requirements
- improve outcomes for people
- improve Mental Capacity Act knowledge and practice across Adult Social Care
- uphold people’s Human Rights
- work closely with area colleagues, legal team colleagues and system partners.

You will need
- Best Interest Assessor Qualification
- up to date DBS
- clean driving licence.
