Your new role

At this Globally renowned Financial Organisation you will be working within the Operational Analytics team within the Capital Markets area supporting several analytics and Data Science capabilities including:

• Delivery of Business Intelligence via provision of dashboards, visualisations, and ad-hoc data analysis tools
• Development of algorithms and machine learning models to improve our understanding and prediction of operational issues and opportunities in
• Business Service Delivery encompassing technology and process.
• Analytics / Data Science consultative service - partnering with operational and business colleagues to understand business needs and recommend/trial data driven solutions and approaches.

The team works in an Agile manner.
Responsibilities

• Build dashboards in Power BI and Kibana.
• Understand user requirements and convert them into analytics.
• Work rapidly and produce results and ask questions proactively.
• Display a keen interest in understanding the business problem the value the analytics provides.
• Identify useful data sources and automate collection processes.
• Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.
• Delivery of dashboards, visualisations and ad-hoc data analysis tools
• Maintain, optimize existing reports to keep up with additional or changing requirements of the business.
• Collaborate with Business Architecture and Technology teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Great experience in data analysis and programming
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence/Reporting professional
• Experience working with databases e.g. SQL Server
• Strong expertise working with data visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Exposure to Machine Learning methods and technologies including LLM.
• Exposure to / interest in Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
• Strong experience with programming Python and strong understanding of Python programming concepts.
• Experience working within a Cloud environment (AWS preferred) would be a bonus.
• Exposure to MLOPs is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation / relationship building skills.
