Power Bi Analytics Lead

Title:

Location - Leatherhead/Hybrid (with an expectation to be in the office 1-2 days per week)

The Role

As a Power BI Analytics Lead, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, leveraging your expertise in Business Intelligence and Analytics to extract, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources. Reporting to the Head of Information Systems, you'll be an integral part of the P3M team, working alongside senior leadership and project teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs, translating them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions

• Design and develop data models to support business analytics and reporting requirements, optimising data structures for efficient querying and visualisation

• Create visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI, customising layouts and themes to meet user needs

• Integrate data from various sources into Power BI datasets, cleansing and transforming it for analysis using ETL tools

• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, defining and enforcing governance policies for Power BI content

• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI features and functionality, documenting best practices and mentoring junior team members

• Support bidding activities and contract mobilisation, providing written solutions and assisting with dashboard setup

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues to ensure a smooth user experience

What We Need

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, strong SQL skills, experience with data modeling, and familiarity with data visualisation best practices.

• Experience with Power Platform, knowledge of Microsoft Azure products, and exposure to complex data, web development libraries like JQuery and Python would be advantageous
