About the role
Putting home ownership within reach of more people has never been more important to Leeds Building Society and as such we are investing a huge amount into making sure our technology is fit for purpose and our ability to make timely and accurate decisions is unparalleled. These new roles will play a huge part in ensuring we're taking full advantage of the data we currently capture and building out our brand new Azure platform (Databricks, Power BI) to further our capabilities.

Reporting to the BI Development Manager, you contribute to the design, development, testing and delivery of information solutions that streamline, simplify and improve the accuracy of information generation and distribution.
What will you bring to the role?
- Proven SQL experience and knowledge of modern RDBMS
- Strong Data Warehouse Design & Modelling theory
- Experience using modern BI technologies
- Ability to interpret user requirements to design, build and test effective solutions
- Ability to analyse and solve problems effectively
- Good attention to detail
- Recognises the importance of customer service
- A critical thinker who seeks continuous improvement
Desirable
- Working knowledge of one of: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA, SAP Data Services
