The Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Recruitment is delighted to be working with a multi-site industrial engineering company in their search for a Bid Manager.
Role Profile:
The Bid Manager will manage the bid process to ensure each bid goes through relevant process gates and all documentation is correct. The BM will be both strategic and hand on in the role, being active on the creation of bids as well as client facing. Key responsibilities include;
- To be accountable for technical responses to opportunities
- Review and prioritise actions in line with company and client expectations
- Manage bid pipeline to ensure accurate information is collated
- Own bid submissions
- Audit bid processes
- Manage Bid Engineers
Person Specification:
The ideal person:
- Degree or HNC qualified in a technical or engineering discipline
- Understands heavy engineering processes
- Understands fast paced bid processes
- Proven track record of delivering bids and winning work
- Significant experience in bid writing
- Excellent people management skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Commercially minded
