Anderson Knight are looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join our Client's team.
Our Client are a multi-disciplinary contracting business supporting their bid and awards team
An important member of the Bid team, focusing on producing professionally written content that articulates our clients value proposition, win themes, technical solutions and qualitive responses.
• Responsible for creating high quality content in response to Invitations to Tender for the full spectrum of tenders across all the sectors in which they operate.
• Write / edit proposal responses, working with a variety of stakeholders. Typically involving contributions from Business Development / Operations / Engineers and Design. Undertake workshop sessions with stakeholders / contributors to garner the information that will be developed into the final content.
• Ensure language, style and content is accurate, professional, consistent and appropriate for the specific client/sector/decision maker.
• Articulate win themes in such a way to meet / exceed the client s requirements
• Time management / prioritisation skills essential to deliver completed written proposal responses in line with agreed deadlines, escalating issues as required.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
• Know what a winning bid looks like and have the ability to grasp technical, financial and legal information in the context of delivering tender content
• Ideally have experience working as a Bid Writer. grant . ffunding awards
• Have an ability to message an optimal win strategy into each bid
• Naturally inquisitive to gather information and develop outstanding content
• Have an ability to collaborate with all stakeholders
