Form of workSF Recruitment are currently recruiting a skilled and experienced Billing Assistant for an opportunity based near Longbridge, Birmingham.
This role is initally an ongoing temporary opportunity, which could lead to a long term opportunity for the right candidate.
You must be immediately available or available on short notice for your application to be considered.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Senior Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining billing, accounts receivable, credit control and supporting the overall finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all billing is completed in a timely manner
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Chase aged debt in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant across Billing, Credit Control and Accounts Receivable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
