£30,553 to £35,810 per annum (Pro Rata for part-time contract or £28.58 per hour for sessional contract)

We are looking for experienced Biology Teachers who would consider Full Time, Part Time and/or Sessional Positions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic, and committed teacher of A Level Biology to join Loughborough Sixth Form College. The College is experiencing growth and application numbers for Sixth Form are at an all-time high. We are therefore looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting.

You will deliver inspirational and effective teaching, learning and assessment to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure aspirational target grades are met or exceeded, with swift and effective interventions put in place to address any underperformance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering A Level Biology to Year 12 and Year 13 students and will be expected to make significant contributions to the outcomes of the area. You will preferably have experience of delivering the AQA Biology specification. We would particularly welcome applications from teachers with an interest in Environmental Science.

A relevant degree is essential, and applicants must have extensive teaching experience, and preferably already hold a teaching qualification. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively both in a large team and as an individual.
