This superior hospital provides high quality healthcare within the region, working with leading consultants and offering a wide range of treatments. Working alongside trained Biomedical Scientists and other trained professionals, you will be part of a collaborative team.
What is the day-to-day of the role:
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards.
- Troubleshoot, regulate and maintain lab instruments.
- Interpret results accurately and provide reports to medical staff.
- Perform lab tests, including routine and specialised.
- Maintain precise records of tests performed, results found and equipment used.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience (in a UK lab) as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Experience using Siemens Centaurs analysers.
- LIMS (Winpath Enterprise) experience.
The ideal Biomedical Scientist will be HCPC registered and fully competent in Chromatography, HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, Validation and Verification, Electrophoresis, Statistics.
