Leading start-up is seeking a Bioreactor Engineer with experience in bioreactor development, operation and optimisation to join their core team! The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to handle a range of cross-functional projects in a fast-paced start-up environment. Responsibilities
- Setting up, optimising, and operating bioreactors.
- Designing and constructing new bioreactors.
- Planning, executing, analysing and presenting bioreactor experiments.
- Coordinating engineering projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering or related field. PhD beneficial but not required.
- 3+ years hands-on experience designing/operating bioreactors in industry or academia.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical design and bioreactor setup.
- Desired expertise in two or more of the following: perfusion bioreactors, stem cell culture, differentiation protocols, microcarriers, prototyping, computational modelling, programming, procurement.
