BMS Controls Service Engineer required. Our client is a well-established BMS company, looking for a BMS Controls Service Engineer to join the team. They are looking for both the Cambridge and Oxford areas.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate exceptional technical understanding of BMS, in control systems. Duties will include carrying out service and maintenance on BMS Control systems along with small works duties when required. Candidates will attend sites to carry out maintenance & service of BMS systems, perform and provide expert BMS skills in designing, testing, engineering, programming, and start-up technical support across any type of electrical (BMS) or mechanical equipment, systems and subsystems including new software and amendments to existing software.
BMS Controls Service Engineer Position Overview
- Attend sites to carry out maintenance & service of BMS systems
- Attend call outs as directed by BMS maintenance manager
- Complete software engineering when required.
- Produce, alter and amend graphics to suit client's scope.
- Mentoring and advising other junior staff.
- Review technical specifications for projects
- Provided technical support and training to both customers and staff
- Undertake diagnosis of faulty systems and provide identification of the root cause with remedial action plans.
- Help with integration of products into other 3rd party building services
- Assist other technical teams with installation, commissioning, or maintenance, when required or when timescales dictate.
- Financial control of material ordering in conjunction with the appointed Contract manager. (This may involve quotes being obtained from the relevant suppliers).
- Ensure company information remains secure and confidential at all times.
- Assessment of the project scope and technical implications of the drawings and specification documents.
- Work within company health and safety policies.
- Work within a team and follow instruction from the team leader.
- To work responsibly and in compliance with the company policies, procedures and terms of employment
- Compliance with ISO Certification Standards, 9001, 14001 & 45001.
BMS Controls Service Engineer Position Requirements
- 3+ years' experience of Trend/Priva and in a similar position.
- A good understanding of control panel design, manufacture, design and testing.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and integration to 3rd party systems
BMS Controls Service Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary: £45,000- £55,000 (Potentially more depending on experience)
- Car Allowance or Company Vehicle
- Working hours: 40 hours a week
- Holiday package 24 days+ 8BH
