Bodyshop Supervisor

Maintech are currently partnered with one of the UK s premier vehicle manufacturers, this household name brand operate within the Motor / People transport / Trucking industry and have their people at the forefront of everything they do.
The client is currently looking to add a Bodyshop Supervisor to their technical division within their people transport and truck division, the workshop supervisors primary role will be to bridge the workshop team with the management team. You will be the technical expert within the team who have a great team of technicians underneath them.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Bodyshop Supervisor Role:

• Supervise a team of technicians in the bodyshop department.
• Liaise closely with the management team in planning sessions and meetings.
• Covering for management when needed ensuring the operation still runs effectively.
• Ensuring operational excellence and compliance with health and safety policies.
• Still provide hands on assistance to the team of technicians throughout the working week.
• Provide internal technical expertise to the team.

Skills required to be successful in this Bodyshop Supervisor Role:

• High level technical knowledge of people transporting and commercial vehicles.
• NVQ Level 3 in commercial vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to analyse processes and offer tailored solutions.
• Effective communication and supervisor experience.

The package for an Bodyshop Supervisor includes:

• Basic Salary of up to GBP40,000.
• Working week of Monday Friday.
• 25 days Annual Leave + Bank holidays increasing with service.
