Bookkeeper

Anderson Knight are currently recruiting on behalf of a well established Accountancy Practice based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking for experienced bookkeeper to join the firm due to a growing client base. The ideal candidate should have experience working in practice and is fairly tech savvy. The role is full time, paying £25-30K based on experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients to trial balance stage
• Preparation and submission of vat returns
• Posting journals
• Preparation of CIS certificates & statements

• Experience of bookkeeping and payroll software i.e. Sage Line 50, Xero and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
