Luton - Office Based Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client who is a retailer with their head office based in Luton.

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a new permanent role? 

You will be responsible for:

• Completion of VAT returns 
• Process of payments, invoices, income and receipts and inputting data into accounting software and filing. 
• Balancing accounts and credit control.
• Gathering financial statements for the business income and expenditure.
• Monthly cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets.
• Working alongside the company accountant, HMRC, customers and suppliers.
• Payroll. 

Required Skills:

• Ideally Sage 200.
• Great communication skills and highly organised.
• Proactive and efficient.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role.

This role is fully office based in Luton and the working hours are 9am-5:30pm.
