BOOKKEEPER - Newtownabbey Area
SALARY: £28,000 per annum
EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, office-based, permanent opportunity
Reed Accountancy is partnered with an excellent client in the Newtownabbey area in the appointment of an experienced Bookkeeper.
Playing an integral role within the accounts team, the successful Bookkeeper would be responsible for raising supplier invoices, carrying out bank reconciliations, and adhering to the credit control function of the company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Raising supplier invoices and purchase orders
- Managing both the purchase and sales ledger
- Credit control - resolve any creditor invoice queries.
- Carrying out both UK and ROI VAT returns
- Payroll duties
- Daily allocation of customer receipts to Sage
- Bank lodgements
- Customer invoice & supplier invoice filing
- Adhoc administrative duties such as answering phone calls/customer queries, maintenance of filing systems, and the upholding of staff records.
What you'll need to succeed!
- Recent and thorough experience using Sage Accounts Software
- 3 + years' proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar.
- Driving licence
- Strong Accounts Administrative understanding
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
