Our client, a highly successful payroll services company are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bookkeeper due tocompany expansion, to join their friendly and active team.
They are a well-established and respected provider of Bookkeeping services, helping businesses maintain accurate financial records and streamline their financial operations. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring client financial information is up to date, accurate, and in compliance with industry standards. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will make a significant impact on their clients' success.
The role:
- Working with your own client portfolio, you will manage the day-to-day bookkeeping activities for multiple client accounts, including VAT returns, CIS, dealing with client enquiries, including site visits.
- Management of Sales and Purchase Ledgers for clients.
- You will also assist with Payroll duties as required, for annual leave cover etc.
- 3-5 years experience in Bookkeeping
- Some payroll experience would be ideal, however not essential, if there is a willingness and ability to learn.
- Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency with Xero and Sage
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- AAT qualifications would also be advantageous.
Salary: up to £29,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
