SalaryTPF Recruitment is proud to support our client located in Brighton with their current need for a Bookkeeper. This role is pivotal in staying on top of our clients' bookkeeping and monthly management accounts, ensuring a healthy cash flow for their business while identifying financial trends early on. We provide a fast, cost-effective, and reliable service tailored to suit business needs.
What the Role Would Include:
- Bookkeeping, bank statements, ledger reconciliations.
- Assisting in the initial preparation of tax returns, VAT & management accounts.
- General financial administration on behalf of the clients.
- Development of processes and procedures to accommodate business changes.
- Introduction of cloud tools.
- Learning new software as it becomes available.
- Working as part of the bookkeeping & management team.
- Visits to clients' offices.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
- The desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis.
- Knowledge of VAT, Self-Assessment, and Corporate Tax.
- Knowledge/experience of cloud tools (e.g., Receipt Bank).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Confidence to speak to clients face to face.
- Flexibility regarding working location.
- Professional competence.
- A working knowledge of Xero would be an advantage.
