We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced book-keeper to join our team. As our book-keeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software
- Prepare and raise invoices, receipts, and chase payments
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Generate financial reports for management review
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Submit VAT returns
- Process payroll for our small team (currently 5 people)
Your experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
