If so, our client, who are a well-established, family run Accountancy practice based in Croydon - they have an opening for either an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team.
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Croydon
Hours: Flexible working hours, full or part-time to suit, minimum 3 days per week

The job will include providing bookkeeping support and some accounting functions for their varied client base. The hours and days worked can be flexible with a minimum of 3 days per week or equivalent hours. Daily duties will include:
- Preparation of bookkeeping records for clients
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Monthly CIS returns
- Assisting with payroll
- Setting up of cloud-based bookkeeping systems for new clients
Do you have the experience required?
- A formal bookkeeping qualification is preferred but not essential
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping will be required
- Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of cloud-based bookkeeping systems such as Xero, Free Agent or QuickBooks
Our client is looking for an experienced individual to join their team and is extremely open as to what Accounts function is covered; they will be flexible as to your working week - all they ask is that you have a positive and pro-active attitude to work and a friendly, hardworking attitude, to succeed within this small team!
