SalaryRole: IT Hardware - Break Fix Engineer
Location: Erskine
Daily rates (inside IR35): £150 - £210/day
Note: Need active SC Security Clearance, to be considered for the role.
A global IT solutions provider in Erskine is urgently seeking a new IT Break-Fix Engineer to join their team on a 6 month contract (very likely to be extended, so you will have some stability in the role).
You will be responsible for the end-to-end IT hardware break-fix process. Conducting repairs on customer equipment such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. You will also touch on software tools and operating systems for diagnosis, resolution, and installation purposes.
As the successful candidate you must have:
- Previous experience in IT Support / Hardware support role
- Experience with a variety of IT hardware devices such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- A good customer focus
- Strong communication skills
