The Client is an international company with a culture of progression, is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic BREEAM Sustainability Consultant to join our Strategic Asset Management business. The client provides a range of sustainability, low carbon, and renewable energy services to large private and public sector clients in the UK. You will manage BREEAM assessments from feasibility stage through to project completion, provide technical sustainability support, and identify potential clients.
This is a full-time position located in our London offices with a flexible working policy, which may include travel to clients' offices/ sites throughout the UK.
Your new role
The role includes:
- Manage BREEAM assessments from feasibility stage through to project completion.
- Provide technical sustainability support to clients in a wide range of areas, including sustainability strategies, renewable feasibility studies, building performance, and whole life carbon assessments.
- Provide advice to clients/design teams on the most cost-effective and beneficial route to BREEAM compliance.
- Identify potential clients, discuss needs, and prepare bid documents.
- Interact with other members of the business and external clients at all levels.
- Facilitate workshops with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Write pre-assessment and progress reports.
- Manage resources, deliverables, and budgets on projects.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of BREEAM experience with a focus on private and public sector projects.
- BSc or MSc in a related field (eg Geography, renewable energy, engineering) is preferred.
- Experience in leading workshops and client meetings.
- Good understanding of building design and services.
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary.
- High level of energy with lots of drive and enthusiasm.
- Candidates may be expected to attain an appropriate level of UK security clearance.
