Breeam Licenced Assessor/ Sustainability Consultant

Energy Counsel is currently looking for a qualified BREEAM Assessor/ Sustainability Consultant to assist with the current and future works alongside the other dedicated members of the team.

Role Description

• Advising clients, developers, and investors on Buildings Life-Cycle Assessments, Embodied Carbon, and Operational Carbon and help champion Low or Zero Carbon design.
• Using knowledge and understanding of buildings, master planning, building physics and environmental assessment methods (BREEAM, Well, SKA, Passivhaus etc) and work closely with design teams to help design and deliver exemplary buildings.
• Working on mixed-use, residential, commercial, leisure and regeneration projects across the UK and abroad and provide sustainable design solutions at the master planning, pre- planning and concept design stages.
• Receiving ongoing CPD so that you develop your understanding of related disciplines such as HVAC and BIM; and you'll be mentored by our very supportive and friendly energy and sustainability team.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of environmental design and sustainability strategies.
• Must have experience in BREEAM, ideally a BREEAM Assessor.
• Experience in energy modelling an analysis of dwellings and non-dwellings
• Ideally have LCA (Life cycle Analysis / Life Cycle Assessment) experience in estimating the embodied carbon
• Able to work as part of a team where quality, innovation, accountability and knowledge sharing are encouraged

Experience in the below would be desirable:

Whole Life-Cycle Carbon Assessments, SBEM LCEA Assessor, OCDEA, Energy Assessor, IES DSM, Sustainability Consultant, BREEAM, EPC, NDEA, Thermal Bridging, TM52, TM59, Passivhaus.
