BTEC LEVEL 3 MUSIC TEACHER - PART TIME

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract Type: Long-term, part-time 2 days per week

Salary: 140 - 200 per day, depending on experience

Leader Education are currently recruiting for a BTEC Level 3 Music Teacher for a college in Doncaster.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience with teaching Music at a BTEC Level 3 level. The ideal candidate must hold the appropriate qualifications (QTS, QTLS, PTTLS), and must have excellent behaviour management skills.

This is a part-time (2 days per week), long-term position with the potential to go permenant for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
• Adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
• Collaborating with school staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress and assessments.

Requirements:

• Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience as a Supply Teacher or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Excellent classroom management skills to create an inclusive and supportive environment.
• Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for education and the ability to inspire students.
