Form of workAn M&E service provider is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer/ Improver to work at a commercial site based in Vauxhall, London. This role is offering a salary of £36,000 per annum with fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the industry.
Job Role:
This position is paying an annual salary of £36,000. The hours of work are Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm.
The role of a Building Maintenance Engineer / Improver – Is to carry out the servicing and reactive repairs to plant room. power and lighting, legionella testing, fabric works, Additionally the engineer will be expected to assist other basic duties as directed & guided by the Engineering Manager
Carry out routines unsupervised (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on building services L8, AHU maintenance, pumps, motors, heating system fault finding and awareness (Heat exchangers, actuators, pipe work).
Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;
- Emergency Lighting
- AHU’s, FCU’s
- Pumps, Motors
- Fans, Belts, Filters
Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have;
- With at least 3 years experience in building services
- City & Guilds in a trade – ideally electrical level 2 or plumbing level 2
- Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
