Randstad CPE are currently recruiting a Building Mainenace Engineer on a temporary contract to begin work in Uxbridge as soon as possible! Job Description: Provision of Technical Building Services, Maintenance Tech - Mechanical/Plumbing Bias Based on site in Uxbridge, providing hands-on all-round Building Services support to the Site Supervisor/Manager. The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Mechanical Buildings Services Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and client specific processes and procedures.
Other duties may include but are not limited to:
Water hygiene checks - L8 checks
Emergency lighting checks
Daily, weekly, and monthly PPM checks - To Building Services HVAC systems
Plumbing PPM/ remedial /repairs/ installations.
Basic electrics depending upon qualifications (competency)
Repairing safety hazards
Installation of appliances and machines
Liaison with contractors and supplier (control of permits)
Managing deliveries of items
Attend reactive breakdowns/ work orders
Complete PPM regimes
Monitor site critical stock and start ordering procedure
Ensure all records are up to date
Take meter readings
Landscaping duties, including assistance in gritting and snow clearance (when/where applicable)
Pay rate:£19.23ph PAYE Duration: 3 months minimum - potential for extension Hours:
This is a shift postion on a roation of alternative weeks (Early/ Lates) comprising of the below shifts;
