An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Manager to join my client's team in one of their marque residential developments in the heart of Bristol. You will be working for a leading estates management provider who focus on employee development and job satisfaction You will receive a competitive salary of up to £50,000 and enjoy a generous benefits package with plenty of additional training and paid for qualifications.
This newly converted building is circa 250 properties, all residential and with some commercial outlets that manage themselves. The role manages 2 full-time staff and day to day management of contractors, the candidate will need to understand compliance, be versed in contractor and staff management. You will be supported by an experienced Estate Manager (Property Manager) who will lead on budget management and manage the developer relationship.
The ideal candidate would have proven experience managing a residential location or similar but hotel, student accommodation and corporate Building Managers will also be considered. This is as long as you have managed soft and ideally hard services and you have the ability to deliver a superb living environment for the residents and their guests.
With your supportive style, you'll be providing team members with training, advice whilst taking overall responsibility for the development including overseeing planned and reactive maintenance including contractor management, ensuring the communal areas are well presented, and providing an exceptional level of customer service to all residents and visitors to the development.
This full-time Building Manager role requires an individual who is highly customer focused and can communicate at all levels, both internally and externally. People Management, H&S, the apperance of the development is your daily focus, always leading by example and going the extra mile for your team and residents. You must be able to encourage and inspire employees to work together to function efficiently. Your working hours are Monday - Friday
