What we’re looking for:
- Are you skilled in carrying out Fire Risk Assessments and good knowledge of Approved Document A and B?
- Do you have an understanding of building regulations and British Standards with regards to Fire Safety?
- Do you have previous experience within social housing in a surveying, architectural, fire safety or development role?
- Do you have an understanding of B.I.M. protocol, Building Safety information and how these can be combined in a safety file?

We currently have a great opportunity for a Building Safety Project Manager to join us on a Permanent basis.
As a Building Safety Project Manager, you will be specifying and inspecting works with regards to design, fire and structural safety, in all buildings controlled by Peabody.
Some of the key results for the role include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to support our customers.
- Advising and supporting our customers in resolving their queries and issues, ensuring that their expectations are managed, and proactive resolutions are identified.
- Reviewing existing fire and structural precautionary measures and new works to help establish a risk based, short, medium and long-term improvement regime for the building stock.
- Liaising with operational teams to resolve risks of any serious and/or imminent danger and prioritise actions arising from Building Safety investigations in order to attend to the most significant issues first.
- Working with other teams to monitor and improve internal procedures to ensure that adequate control measures are in place in order to maintain a safe environment for both residents and staff.
A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required.
