About The Role:
Due to increased project wins in the commercial and private sector, Carriera is expanding its Building Surveying team. The team manages projects from inception to completion, with values up to £4 million. Key responsibilities include advising on building pathology, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing counsel on planning applications, disputes, grants, arbitrations, and expert witness services.
About You:
The ideal candidate is a technically proficient individual, either chartered or in the later stages of completing their APC. Those with a proven track record (minimum 4 years) in a consultancy or private practice, holding a degree in building surveying, will also be considered. Essential qualifications include strong communication and commercial awareness. While asset management and loss adjusting experience is advantageous, prior experience in the private sector is crucial.
