Bus & Coach Cleaner

JH Coaches is a privately owned family business. We operate buses and coaches on a mix of school contracts, local services, school and private group hires across the North East of England with two depots in Birtley. One main depot which is situated on Fell Bank and another parking yard in the O’Brien site on Durham Rd.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Bus and Coach Cleanerbased at our main depot on Fell Bank, Birtley working part of our cleaning team.

Requirements:

• This position will involve completing a daily cleaning of vehicles internally
• Washing the interior windows
• Cleaning the floor, seats, aisle and under the seats, including gum removal
• Cleaning the driver's area of any refuse, cleaning dash and steering wheel
• Reporting those vehicles which have problems
• Cleaning the step well and pedestal areas
• Keep work area in a clean condition
• Bagging up any lost property and storing it in our lost property section correctly
