Main Responsibilities

· Responsible for operating the Brake Press machine

· Responsible for operating the sheet metal roller machine

· Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches

· Use a CNC controller to input information into machine

· Adjust rams and back gauge locations per process control instructions

· Check height, width and thickness using micrometres, dial indicators and other precision measuring instruments

· Working within tight tolerances

· Meet customer spec and delivery requirements

· Perform spot inspections of parts

· Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures

· Complete and maintain paperwork

· Identify assembly parts

· Configure bend allowances for specific items and projects

· Check machine for defects and repair if necessary

· Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned

· Knowledge of reading technical drawings and blueprints

· Changing multiple machine tooling to bend items for production needs

38 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £17.07 per hour
